As reported by TOI, in a serious case of poaching, a third leopard was found dead in the past weeks. The carcass was discovered by forest officials in Jadrangal area of Himachal Pradesh. The body of the feline was found caught in a wire trap with its teeth and nails removed by poachers. The aforementioned traps have caused many deaths of stray cats, dogs and cows. Adding to its list of victims are also two other leopards, both of which died on 18th February- with one having an instantaneous death in the trap, while the other succumbing to its injuries in a veterinary hospital.
